STG Health Services Inc. is a corporation in Saskatchewan, providing private (mental) health services to anyone in Saskatchewan. STG stands for Saskatchewan Therapy Group. Several practices across Saskatchewan work together under the umbrella name of STG Health Services Inc to provide innovative and integrated health services in a simplified manner.
All services provided by STG Health Services Inc. are outside of health regions and affiliated offices. This means that no referral is required to access any of the services related to counselling, assessment, parenting support, behavioural interventions, and skills training groups.
STG Health Services Inc. provides services in La Ronge, Regina, and Saskatoon*.
Our clients come from all layers of society. Our service delivery is specialized in working with clients who are multicultural as well as Indigenous Peoples. We have received grants through Indigenous Peoples for specialised programs such as DBT Mindfulness Skills training.
Private mental health services are available to adults in the La Ronge area, related to addressing symptoms of ADHD, anxiety, and mood. These services are provided as psychoeducation. Psychoeducation is a system of helping clients understand the strengths and challenges of their functioning, and then continuing to determine which skills can be helpful to improve living a life worth living. The La Ronge branch has a separate website.
DBT Skills Training Groups are available online for clients looking to work on Mindfulness, Emotional Regulation, Distress Tolerance, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. These trainings are online, weekly sessions of two hours.
STG provides specialized programs to assist parents with managing their child’s difficult behaviours at home. These target childhood anxiety, picky eating, and dealing with ADHD. Program supports are research-based called SPACE and NVR.
